Anticipation of Birthday! :D

Am turning 17 soon.Blockquote

Been trying to think of what I want, but I can't think of much.

Just two things really..
CDs and Notebooks.

Though I'm scared to ask for CDs this time for fear that people will buy me two of the same CDs. LOL. But if you're willing to take the risk, I'll add it to my birthday wishlist :D

David Archuleta by David Archuleta
Coco by Colbie Caillat
Breakthrough by Colbie Caillat
Talk on Corners by The Corrs
In Blue by The Corrs

Secondly on my wishlist if you'd want to avoid CDs is notebook. :D
Drop by Artbox or any nice notebook stores and get me a nicely decorated notebook! :D
I do have a condition for this option though..
On the first few pages, I want you to write in it.

Like this. This would be how I would have done it but its not just limited to this. Use your own creativity and personalise it your way.

It can span 1 page or 10 pages according to how you want it.

The meaning behind this is that I want to remember you as time goes by although we may not see each other anymore in other schools. So everytime I use that notebook, I can always flip to the front page and not forget you. :D :D

Thirdly you can choose anything that you think I will like.
Because I may be too narrow minded to have thought of it as a birthday present.
And you think that I will enjoy it. :D
Go ahead! :D

Thanks people! :D :D

New Year's Resolution!

Since today is a holiday that I do not celebrate, I decided to utilise today and list down new years resolutions for 2010.

Lovely. For my readers out there, (if there is any.. haha) here are some tips on keeping New Year's Resolution. (Compiled by me from googling New Year's resolution. Haha)

Tip #1 Keep your resolutions to a minimum

From hereand here, I found out that you can only effectively keep your new year's resolution if you group them into at most, 7 groups. Any more and your brain cannot effectively deal with the information given.

Tip #2 Details, Details, Details

Details are very important. Instead of saying, I want to learn how to dance this year. Maybe say, what kind of dance. What kind of organisation you want to learn from. Is there any friends who might be joining you? How much are you willing to spend on it. The more details you put into it, the more likely you'll materialise it as you go on through the year.

Once you are done with the visualisations and details and have written them down, stick a small note in a place wherever you will see everyday. Put a copy in your wallet, another on the fridge door and one on your mirror. Wherever you think you will see it everyday. Reading it everyday will drum it in and subconsciously you will take steps to do these things.

Tip #3 Keeping it real

Don't set yourself up for a goal you thought you couldn't achieve. When you do that, you're setting yourself up for failure. People tend to procrastinate using reasons like, I can't possibly do THAT. Why am I even trying?

Gotten a goal you're comfortable with? Now, you need to break it up to smaller manageable goals so as you pass through your little check points, you will be able to motivate yourself to achieve the big picture.

In addition to taking small manageable steps to accomplishing your goal, you shouldn't see your goals as something you must do, like a chore. Instead, you should incorporate it into your life as a fun activity.

You cannot achieve something you believe in so remember to believe in it every day. :D

Well, I guess details, keeping it real, remembering it and keeping it to the minimum will really help your new year's resolution.

To friends our there, Merry Christmas and have a happy New Year! Good luck with your new year's resolution.

Mystery Shopping

On tuesday, I went back to school.

Yiqing had red cross, i went back with her. I later found out there was badminton as well but didn't really see the sec 3's, sec 2's and 1's got.. So I didn't join in. Followed Yiqing, she went to call Ms Shyam. Since nobody else was inside we went in and I like gooseberry Ms Shyam and Yiqing. Haha.

I did chip in when we talked about work, but when they talked about RC I just sat there and like look at them talk. Anyways we talked until RC ended.

Ferlyn, Zhuoning, Yiqing and me took 30 to Jurong Point. We went to this clothes shop where we guised as students looking for party dresses for a christmas party. :D

This nice lady helped me, gave me suggestions. Haha.

Second we went to this shoe shop.

We were actually not going to buy anything..

I was trying on a shoe for a supposed christmas party. No money to buy, still try. Haha. The sales assistant was very nice, she put on the shoe for me. Haha. Always volunteer one. Even take it out for me..

Zhuoning fell in love with one of the shoes. She got super psycho-ed by the sales assistant to buy it. Made her very torn. HAHA! We also helped psycho her. In the end she went home and take money from her mom and came back the next day. :D

The last shop we mystery shopped was a stationary store.

Maybe you guys will know which shop I am talking about. :D Its the stationary shop which sells a lot of cute notebooks and stationaries.

Omg. Damn in love with it can?

I think I tested 3 salesgirls in that shop. ^.^

1 salesgirl was damn damn nice and small talked to me and reccomand me items. She tried to upsell. The only one who did that in my 3 shop.

Another salesgirl was so scared of me when I tried to ask for her opinion and did small talk with me. I can see that she was wishing not to be called upon by me again when I was looking for assistance. :P

Hee. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience.

But yesterday, I did have a bad experience.
And I'm not going to rent CDs from that shop again.
And going to ask all my friends to not go to that shop as well.

Planet 51

On Monday, we were released early, at 4.30. Zhuoning, Ferlyn, Yiqing and me went to the reception to drop off application form for Zhuoning's friend. We walk and talk until very slow. haha.

When I reached home, it was already 5.15pm. Went to change, change bag and stuff and quickly got out of the house. I reach heng heng 6 pm. Haha.

We went to the library, go and see some books. Wei Song went to borrow some books, I couldn't coz I got library fine. $12. Don't want to pay. HAHA!

We went to eat dinner at Burger King. Talked about a lot of random crap stuff. :D I was still eating my fries when Wei Song said its 7.15 pm already. Wtf? Time pass so fast right?

We tapau the burger and went to buy tickets for Planet 51.

I saw the advertisement, its quite funny. However, the only funny parts were featured in the advertisement so I like wasted $7 and 1.5 hours for nothing when I could've watched the advertisement free. LOL

By the time the movie end, 9 le. Need to study for work already. So go home, facebook, study and sleep. Haha

Tiring Monday

Emotionally tired.
Mentally tired as well.
Physcially tired.

The reason why I'm not blogging about work is because I'm afraid I'd leak out sensative information from work. Haha. Official info. Haha. If I did that I will be fired. Kapish.

But I'm emotionally tired because I'm falling for a guy who probably has no room in his heart for me. All that's left for me to do is pretend. Pretend he doesn't exist. Pretend he's not cute or perfect.

Mentally tired because I have to study although I'm physically tired. Haha.

Physically tired because I've had a long day.

Came back home from watching Planet 51 with Wei Song. Will blog about it another day. Tired. Haha. And must study for test, hence using the computer. Cya.
